From the moment you graduate, whether with an undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral degree, you become a lifelong member of this dynamic network, at no cost. In Mainland China, CLO supports local alumni leaders and ANU Alumni team to maintain the very engaged alumni network. Career Development
ANU provides comprehensive 360-degree career support services, regularly hosting career fairs for graduating students and alumni every year, bringing enterprises into the ANU campus and offering guidance and suggestions to students on resume writing, interview skills, communication, and other aspects of career preparation.
In the face of a rapidly evolving job market, The CLO initiated student career support project goes beyond simply building connections, it is committed to helping every student identify the right direction, choose the right pathway, and take their first step into the professional world with confidence.
Through the program, we aim to help students:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends and emerging job opportunities, enabling them to take a proactive approach to career planning;
- Accurately match with the most suitable companies and functional roles, improving the efficiency of their job search;
- Develop early insights into corporate culture and employer expectations, reducing the cost of trial and error in the recruitment process;
- Build a clear vision of their long-term career development pathway, prepare in advance for the workplace, and navigate competition with greater confidence.
Under the ACAS, we continuously deliver diverse and comprehensive career development activities for ANU students and alumni. These initiatives help students connect with high-quality industry resources, strengthen their employability, and gain greater clarity in their career planning. The activities include:

- Industry expert sharing sessions

- On-campus recruitment events in Canberra
- Alumni mentoring and experience-sharing sessions
- Livestream Q&A sessions focused on career development and job searching for Chinese international students
