- For current students, CLO facilitates communication with relevant university offices to support their academic progress and successful degree completion. The office also supports the students from their day 1 in ANU to plan the future career path.
- For alumni, the China Office works closely with alumni representatives and the Alumni Office to provide multifaceted support to over 10,000 alumni currently residing in mainland China.
- For education partners, the office serves as a bridge for Sino-Australian educational exchange, facilitating collaboration in teaching, research, and student and staff mobility.
- For education regulatory authorities, it provides updates on the university’s development within mainland China.

Additionally, CLO manages five official ANU Chinese social media platforms, delivering first-hand university information to Mandarin Chinese-reading audiences with no delay.
