The Australian Government has announced proposed reforms to the University's enabling legislation, the Australian ¾«¶«´«Ã½app University Act 1991.
The Council welcomes the opportunity to participate in this consultation process and is making a formal submission to Government. We support efforts to ensure the University's legislative framework reflects contemporary governance practice, draws on evidence and experience, and supports the University's distinctive mission as Australia's national university.
