Peter Garrett AM is an Australian musician, environmental advocate and former federal minister, with a distinguished career spanning the arts, public service and activism.
He rose to prominence as the lead singer of Midnight Oil, one of Australia’s most influential rock bands, known for its advocacy on environmental and social issues.
He later served as a Member of the Australian Parliament and held ministerial portfolios including Environment, Heritage and the Arts and School Education, contributing to national policy on sustainability and education.
