Paul Kiley

I am an ANU Alumni, and I have been working at ANU since March 2021. I started working at ANU in Human Resources in the then College of Science where I learnt how schools, centres and colleges work. I saw the interaction between colleges and central from the college perspective. I enjoyed learning about the different research being conducted.

I moved to the Manager HR BP role in portfolios in April 2024. Here I have learnt about the support services required for ANU to succeed. I have also seen the college central interaction from the central perspective. I have also been closely involved in the change processes.

Prior to coming to ANU, I worked in HR in a NSW Local Council where I discovered it is more than roads, rates and rubbish. I also worked for a national labour hire company which was instrumental in opening a pathway for people from the Pacific Islands to come and work in Australia.

I have spent time as a computer programmer working in the APS and in Europe and I started my career in pay roll in Civil Personnel in the Department of Defence.
