Changes to SharePoint sharing options
|
We are continuing to strengthen the University’s information governance arrangements to support consistent information handling and secure collaboration across ANU. As part of this work, we have updated the way links are shared from SharePoint and OneDrive.

- Specific people that you nominate when sharing the link.

Collaboration and the sharing of knowledge are central to the University’s mission. At the same time, we all have a responsibility to ensure University information is shared appropriately and is available only to people with a legitimate need.
If your needs can’t be met under the updated sharing settings, you can request an exemption. Just head to , search for “security exemption”, and follow the steps in the Exemptions to Security Controls (KB0041532) knowledge article.
Further guidance on sharing files and links is available on the .

Three questions with Noah Bedford
|
How did you come to be at ANU? After several years working as an adviser to Senator Patrick Dodson, I joined the ANU First Nations Portfolio following his retirement for the opportunity to work with Vice-President Professor Peter Yu, one of Australia’s great Indigenous public leaders and visionaries. A Yawuru man, Peter has dedicated his life to advancing Indigenous rights and recognition. Rarely do you get the chance to work alongside someone like him, and I’m grateful to Peter and ANU for that opportunity every day.
What are you most passionate about in your work? Australia has unfinished business in its relationship with Indigenous peoples, creating complex legal and policy challenges that continue to shape my work. As Director of Policy and Partnerships at the Centre for Indigenous Economic Transformation, I work with leading Indigenous organisations and experts, including our incredible Centre Director Leah Armstrong, to advance economic self-determination and strengthen relationships between Indigenous peoples, governments and industry.
What is your favourite spot on campus and why? Badger & Co, next to the stream. I have fond memories of sitting on the balcony there with a former colleague who has since passed away and was one of Australia’s great historians of Indigenous policy and politics. We shared many laughs and stories there, and he is deeply missed.

This week’s picture was taken by Nurhadi Khan, Manager, Alumni Engagement Program.
"This photo reminds me that ANU isn’t only defined by its world-class teaching and research, but also by the peaceful environment that surrounds it. Seeing this rabbit sitting quietly in the golden morning light felt like discovering a hidden treasure. It’s a gentle reminder to slow down and appreciate the beauty that exists in everyday moments on campus."
Got a photo you’re proud of?  and include a short description about why your snap is special to you.
